HOW TO JOIN
Click the "Begin Application" button below. You only need to fill it out once (for overseas trips) — then it's good for life. After submitting, you'll receive an email from us very soon to confirm its status. Once its approved, you'll choose between either (1) requesting a fundraising page, or (2) submitting your $400 trip deposit (either by check or via the online link we email you).
While vaccinations are not required for this trip, the CDC has recommendations for traveling to Thailand. Seek professional medical advice/instruction from your doctor or health care provider and confirm you are current on your vaccinations.
Within 1-2 months of the trip date, we'll reach out to you to confirm the trip's expected flight itinerary & cost. Once flights are booked, we'll schedule our trip team's meeting and email you a trip guide for you to review (so that you can arrive at the meeting prepared with questions). If you buy apparel or gear from our SHOP, we'll try to bring you your order at the meeting!
After our team meeting, you'll begin making final travel preparations. About 1 week before departure, we'll email you a reminder with details for the day of departure. As you prepare to leave, remember to prepare your heart for what God has planned — check out our list of top books to read!
WHAT WE DO
This trip is your opportunity to support & serve alongside our missionary partner, Charlie Atikonda, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
We will help run English language camps for university students and share Jesus through art, music, and sports. We will lead Bible stories, games, and dancing at kindergartens, and also assist with sports ministry for older students who enjoy soccer & volleyball. We will participate in rural village outreach, show the Jesus Film, host discipleship classes, and help with church-building projects.
We'll also have time to explore Chiang Mai's iconic landmarks and enjoy unique restaurants & shops — making for an unforgettable experience!
